Jeanette Fetters

Jeanette Elaine Fetters, 65, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Kavanagh House. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Jeanette was born December 11, 1951 in Nevada, Iowa to Virgil and Maxine Brooks. She graduated from Nevada High School. Jeanette worked as a hairstylist for 46 years before retiring in 2016. She loved golfing, Mexican food and margaritas, vacationing in Florida to see her sister, Charlet and most of all being a nana. Jeanette was a genuine, selfless person who always had a smile on her face. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Chris (Ashley) Fetters; granddaughter, Evyn Danielle Fetters; brothers, Steve (Jan) Brooks, Chuck (Robette) Brooks and Brad (Julie) Brooks; sisters, Delores (Steve) Heintz and Charlet (Mike) Hallo; mother-in-law, Mariam Fetters and several nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Fetters; parents, Virgil and Maxine Brooks; brother Doug Brooks and father-in-law, Kenneth Fetters.
