Janice L. Young - Winterset

Janice L. Young, 77, of Winterset, Iowa, died Monday January 14, 2013, at Winterset Care Center South in Winterset. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated with her cremains being interrerd in the Winterset Cemetery at a later date. Janice was born on June 17, 1935, at Creston, Iowa to Lawrence and Leona (Wilson) Sadler. She was a graduate of Creston High School and was married on September 11, 1954 at Creston to Robert Dean Young. She had been a resident of Winterset for 58 years and had been a child caregiver. Janice is survived by her sons, Michael (Sherri) Young of Winterset and Greg Young of Winterset; daughter, Michele Young of Lees Summit, Missouri; grandchildren, Emily Marlett, Danielle Camp, Dustin Camp, Ashley Young, Noah Munoz, Hannah Munoz, and Amy Duffy; and great grandchildren, Landon Marlett and Allura Duffy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Leona (Wilson) Sadler; husband, Robert D. Young; brother, Robert Sadler; and sister, Radine Combs. Memorials may be directed to her family.
