Janet Louise Rivas, 86, passed away Tuesday March 24th, 2026. Janet was born December 3, 1939, in Des Moines, IA. She was a life long Des Moines resident, and a dedicated housewife.
Janet had great passion for her family. She enjoyed beautiful flowers, and spending quality time caring for her pets.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, John Rivas Jr.; brother, Ralph Keul; daughter, Cally A. Cole; son-in-law, Tim D. Cole; son, John P. Rivas; daughter-in-law, Sindy S. Rivas; grandchildren, Ian T. Allden, Jessi J.Allden, Tessa M. (Rivas) Keeling, and Johnathan J. Rivas; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
