Jane Marie (Savage) Meier, 95, of Adel, passed away on July 11, 2026. She was born on September 16, 1930, to Matt and Viola Savage and was one of five children.

Jane graduated from Grimes High School with the Class of 1948. After graduation, she married the love of her life, Willis Meier. Together they built a life centered on family and welcomed two sons.

From an early age, Jane was known for her strong work ethic. She began working as a child and continued to work in a variety of jobs throughout her life, remaining employed well into her 80s.

Jane found great joy in spending time with family and friends, especially while fishing or at the bowling alley. Bowling was one of her lifelong passions, and she remained a devoted bowler for many years. She treasured the friendships she made and the memories created through the sport.

Jane is survived by her son, Rick, and her sister, Beverly.

Jane's memory will forever be cherished. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory ( 735 South 14th Street Adel, IA) with a service following that starts at 11:00 a.m.
