Jim Lamson

Jim Lamson, 88, passed away April 26, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cindy, his daughter, Laura (Eddie), grandchildren (Daisy and Jasper) and his daughter, Louise (Phil), grandchildren (Guthrie and Wesley). Jim was a beloved teacher, theatre director and assistant golf coach for 34 years at Valley High School, a mentor and inspiration to his students and a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. To honor Jim’s memory, the Jim Lamson Theatre Arts scholarship will be established with the Student Scholarship Fund. Information regarding scholarship donations will be at www.CaldwellParrish.com. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be June 29, 3:00-5:30 pm, at Raccoon River Park Nature Lodge.
