Helen "Beth" Elizabeth Muenchrath

Helen Elizabeth Muenchrath, or Beth, the beloved spouse to Roger Erpelding was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa while staying with maternal grandparents Bertha and Theodore and sister Marty Patricia as her father was serving in the Philippines in WW2. She passed away naturally on January 19th, 2025. 

Her final moments were spent peacefully at Ramsey Village in Des Moines, surrounded by family along with skilled, loving care center staff to whom we are forever grateful. She was dedicated to her Catholic faith and parish community at Saint Theresa's. 

She is survived by her husband Roger, her children Rob, Charlotte (Doug), David, and step son Jack (Hannah). Also by her grandchildren William, Walter, Mary, Clara, and Gus. 

Services will be held at Saint Theresa's Catholic Church with Visitation at 10:00 a.m., following with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. and internment at Glendale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Theresa's Catholic Church.
