Gikuang Jeff Chen

Gikuang Jeff Chen, 60 of Urbandale, IA passed away on September 2, 2019 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines Iowa. Jeff was born on July 20, 1959 in Taiwan. He moved to the United States and received his PhD in Economics from the University of Memphis. He married his wife Doreen in 1988. He worked as a statistical modeler for Citibank. He was a man of many hobbies, including: literature, history, poetry, military studies, philosophy, motorcycles, and horseback riding. Jeff was a quiet person, who lived a peaceful life. Jeff is survived by his wife, Doreen; children, Eric and Elliott; and mother, Jean Shiu Chen.
