Gary Lee Wiges

Gary Lee Wiges, age 62, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026.

Born on July 29, 1963, Gary brought an abundance of warmth and light to everyone who knew him. 

Although Gary was nonverbal, he had a vibrant personality and always made sure you knew exactly how he felt and what he wanted. His expressive nature, combined with his incredibly warm heart, left a lasting impression on his family, caregivers, and others who had the privilege of sharing in his life.

Gary is survived by his guardian, Bret Miller (& family); his care provider, Melvin Quoie (& family); his Mosaic care team (Donna, Lasara, Payton, & Rikki); and the rest of his Mosaic Family. A Memorial Celebration will be planned at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mosaic in Central Iowa.
