Frank Dennis Nizzi

On December 26th, 2016, Frank Dennis Nizzi of Dexter, IA, passed away. We will celebrate his life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel. He will be laid to rest in the Waukee Cemetery beside his maternal grandfather, Joseph Dennis McKinney. Friends may call after Noon Friday, December 30th at the funeral home where family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Frank never met his grandfathers, Denny and Remo Nizzi in life but they were waiting with his grandmother, Velma McKinney; great grandparents Hazel & Bud Matthews, Olivia & Joseph Schlabaugh and Maria & Bartolo Nizzi to meet him. On June 24, 1996, Michelle and Jerry were blessed with Frank. In the 20 years that Frank walked this earth, he touched so many lives. He was always there to lift our hearts with a silly song or joke. He was loyal and protective and he loved his family unconditionally. Frank will be forever in our hearts and every day in our thoughts until we are all together again. Frank is survived by his parents, Michelle and Jerry Nizzi of Dexter, IA, along with his three sisters, Emily of Des Moines, Hanna and Haley of Dexter. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Muriel Nizzi of Waukee, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
