Emmanuel Bacuyag
1945 - 2025
Emmanuel Bacuyag, 79, passed away surrounded by his large and loving family. Emmanuel was born in the Philippines, and was the eldest child of Conrado and Maria.
He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas and went on to become a registered architect in the Philippines and the United States. During his 30 years as a practicing architect, he designed schools, hospitals, banks, libraries, commercial facilities, fire stations, and homes including projects in both countries. Applying his expertise in community service, Emmanuel served as a volunteer for several years as an advisory board member.
Throughout his lifetime Emmanuel with his wife Grace travelled any distance to share time with family during weekends, holidays and summer vacation. He and Grace traveled often with their children on expansive road trips, often leading a caravan to explore national parks and international adventures to historic sites and continued to feed his travel bug with his grandchildren and great-grandson. He was always the first to engage and connect with strangers, sharing his gratitude for his family, sharing a laugh, and ultimately making friends everywhere he went. He is especially loved and remembered for his endless gratitude for life, infectious colloquialisms, jokes and mannerisms that made him easily quotable over his nearly eight decades of life.
Emmanuel’s legacy, stories, and devotion to family will continue with his loving family who will miss him greatly.
