Elizabeth Grubb

Elizabeth Renee Grubb (Sweet Lizzy) passed away on July 24th, 2023 at the age of 45 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her. Elizabeth enjoyed going to concerts, movies, and to family gatherings. She also enjoyed shopping for gifts for her nieces and nephew and anything chocolate.

She is survived by her mother, Donna Sprague; step-father, Tim Sprague; sisters, Paige Grubb and Carrie Grubb (significant other Randy Hanson); brother, Zachary Sprague; special friend Michael Kelso Jr.; grandmother Karen Smith; nieces, Cecilia and Cora; nephew, Parker; her beloved cat Tucker Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, James Grubb; grandparents Lois and Clayton Sr. Grubb; grandfather Donald Stanley Sr.; and great-grandmothers Laura Herrick and Hazel Newman.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Animal Rescue League.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 from 2:00-3:00 pm with a service to follow at 3:00 pm at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale.
