Elijah Neighbors

Elijah Neighbors, 18 years old, passed away on December 19, 2019 at Blank Children’s Hospital. Elijah was born on September 24, 2001 to Charles Neighbors and Jodie Hickman in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed drawing and participated in many drawing contests as well as showing an interest in becoming a comic book artist. He also liked spending time outdoors fishing and looked into a future in wildlife conservation. When he had free time he enjoyed the simple times of just hanging out and listening to music. Elijah is survived by his mother, Jodie Hickman; father, Charles Neighbors; brothers, Jonathan, Isaiah, and Josiah; cousins, Sharai and Tiarra, Joey, Jeremy, Josh, and Jessica; Uncles, Joe and Tyrone; and Aunt, Jamie; as well as many friends and extended family.
