Eleanor Mae Houge

Eleanor Mae Houge, 78, passed away March 1, 2017, in Des Moines, IA. Eleanor was born August 17, 1938, to Robert and Louise Lamb of Urbandale and lived and worked in the Des Moines area for many years until moving to California and later Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Houge and survived by a daughter, Valerie Cape of Belmont, CA, and a son, Steve Snyder of Des Moines. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren. Outgoing, affectionate and warmhearted, “Ellie” will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. The family plans a private graveside funeral.
