Eileen Catherine Crosby

Eileen Catherine Crosby, 72, passed away on October 5, 2018 at Kennybrook Village in Grimes. A funeral service will be at 6 p.m., Monday October 8 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 13 at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Wadena, IA. Eileen loved music, birds, books, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Eileen is survived by her children, Robert (Karen) Crosby, Jr., Patrick (Amelia) Crosby, Curtis Crosby and Cherie Simpson; brother, Jim Kuhens; grandchildren, Alyssa Miller, Kaitlyn Matthews, Makenna, Ryan, Caine, Christopher, Isabella Crosby and Samantha Simpson; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Rita Kuhens, step-mother, Alta Kuhens and son-in-law, Scott Simpson. Memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Grimes to support the Deacons in providing a ministry of compassion to the members of our church and community who are in need.
