Edita Melida Romero was born October 8, 1949 in Santa Rita, Chalatenango El Salvador. She was the daughter of Pascual and Romelia Reina Romero Gutierres. Edita moved to the United States of America and received her permanent residency on October 4, 2005.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Abel Alvarenga Orellana of Des Moines, IA; a son, Juan Alvarenga of Perry, IA along with other immediate family members and extended family.
