Derek Countryman 'Derry' - Redfield

Derry died, Sunday, January 5th, 2014. He was 69. Friends may call after 3 PM Thursday, January 9th at the funeral home in Adel, where family will greet friends from 5 to 7 PM. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday January 10, 2014 at McCalley Funeral Home with burial at Wiscotta Cemetery. Derry was retired from Glen-Gery Brick in Redfield. He was a great father and grandfather. He loved to go to auctions and take photos of his grandkids. Derry is survived by his mother Betty Countryman; two children, James (Stacey) Countryman; Todd (Rhonda) Countryman; two brothers, Dennis (Marty) Countryman; Brian (Dianne) Countryman; three sisters, Bonnie (Keith) Hogan; Peggy (Denny) Chisam; Linda DeReus; brother in law Truman Payne; and three grandchildren Elizabeth Countryman, Ryker Countryman and Rylee Countryman, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Countryman and a sister, Cheryl Payne. Online condolences may be left on this site.
