Dennis Mark Kamm

Dennis Mark Kamm, of Waukee, Iowa, passed away at his home on August 25, 2026. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Adel, Iowa. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish a college fund for Dennis’s daughter, Payton.

Dennis began his life on August 25, 1972. He was the second son born to Mark and Joyce Kamm. He was born in Des Moines, IA and grew up in Van Meter, IA.

Dennis was a man of many hats and excelled at all of his attempts in life. He was mechanically talented at a young age. After graduation he worked at a car dealership before joining his father and brother in a framing partnership that lasted until his father retired. After that Dennis became a truck driver and later joined a lumberyard where he excelled in his carpentry interests. The thing that Dennis took most pride in was being a father to his daughter Payton.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Payton of Adel, Father Mark Kamm of Van Meter,IA, Brothers Douglas (Karla) of Grimes, IA, Daniel (Danielle) of Scottsdale AZ, Niece Kendre Kamm of Beaverdale, IA, Nephew Kolby Kamm of Grimes IA, and former wife and best friend Heather Brown of Adel.

Dennis is preceded in death by his Mother Joyce Kamm and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
