Deborah J. Kirch

Deborah Jean Kirch, 60, of Des Moines, passed away on April 26, 2016. A visitation will be held 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory in Urbandale. A Rosary Service will be prior to visitation at 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 2 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines. Deborah was born in Des Moines on March 9, 1956 to Leonard and Marilyn (Gering) Olsasky. She graduated from Hoover High school and worked most of her career as a computer programmer. Deborah loved gardening, baking, movies and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Deborah is survived by her daughter, Katie (Ben) Ruby; mother, Marilyn Olsasky; grandson, Isaac James Ruby; sisters, Theresa (Steve) Yourison and Denise (Steve) Vasey; brothers, Larry (Anna) Olsasky and David (Jane) Olsasky; sister-in-law, Karen (Rich) Piloski and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff; father, Leonard; brother, Marty and mother-in-law, Darlene. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
