Deborah Renae Eide, 79, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Adel, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 21, 2026, at St. John's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your local animal rescue league. Online condolences may be sent to the family at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home.

Deb was born on March 10, 1947, in Dexter to Harland and Ione (Withers) Eide. She graduated from Adel High School in 1965 and later received her associate degree in accounting. Deb began her career with Farm Service in Adel, with much of her professional career spent at Brown Engineering in Des Moines.

Deb was a longtime hospice volunteer who had a caring heart for both people and animals. She rescued many cats throughout her life and was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She was an avid reader with an extensive book collection and was a strong supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She is survived by her niece, Leigh Hall and her husband, Bart Hall; their children, Hailey Eide-Hall and Jack Eide, all of Iowa City; along with many cousins spread from coast to coast.

Deb was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Ione Eide; her brother, Ron Eide and his spouse, Roberta Eide; and her best friend, Char Bronnanhan.
