Cheryl Lee Capps

Cheryl Lee Capps, 73, of Winterset, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Family will receive friends at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Cheryl was born in Des Moines, Iowa on November 2, 1947 to Darrell and Bernice (Hensen) Allen. She was a 1966 graduate of Winterset High School and married Lewis A. Capps on November 8, 1966. She was a lifelong resident of Winterset and was a wonderful homemaker, raising her five sons.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Bernice Allen.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Capps; sons, Greg (Jolinda) Capps, Lewis (Mary) Capps, Tim (Marla) Capps, Scott (Amanda) Capps and Todd (Nicole) Capps; brothers, Ben and Darrell Allen; sister, Carol Blanchard; 9 grandchildren, Mason, Chantal, Cedric, Jeremy, Chris, Cheyenne, Amber, Austin and Spencer; and 2 great grandchildren, Hudson Langford and Hudson Capps.
