Carolyn Joyce Myers

Carolyn Myers, 82 of Waukee, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Arbor Springs of West Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Booneville with burial at the Booneville Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Carolyn was born in rural Waukee on March 12, 1936 to Ray and Mabel (Miles) Myers. She graduated from Van Meter High School and worked for Bankers Trust for many years in multiple positions. She was a member of the Booneville United Methodist Church all her life. Carolyn loved the outdoors, animals, music, flowers, gardening and enjoyed seeing people. Carolyn is survived by her sister, Alice and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
