Carl Christensen

Carl Christensen, 69, of Winterset, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Carl Vernon Christensen was born on February 14, 1956, to Carl and Lucille (Dick) Christensen. He spent most of his life between Winterset and Indianola, Iowa. Known for his rebellious character, Carl was a true free spirit who enjoyed traveling and connecting with people wherever he went. A people person through and through, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his brothers, Vernon Christensen, Ronald Christensen, and Clair Christensen, and sisters, Cheryl Keiser and Linda Christensen. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, William Christensen.

Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Winterset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
