Bruce Riegel

Bruce Edward Riegel, Jr., 38, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Iowa Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family. Bruce was born on May 14, 1979 in Long Island, NY to Bruce and Janet (Lachance) Riegel. He attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, IA later attending AIB where he received his Associates of Arts Degree. Bruce was a loving father who loved spending time with his two children. He enjoyed fishing, driving for Uber, writing, and watching sporting events. He especially enjoyed watching the New York Yankees. Bruce is survived by his wife, Katherine Van Dyke; children, Autumn and Derek Riegel; parents, Bruce (Vicky) Riegel and Janet (Dave Skinner) Riegel; brother, Brian Riegel; step-brother, Jason Riegel; and step-sister, Cassidy Riegel.
