Brayan Martines Ruiz

Brayan Martines Ruiz, 22, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2020. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home in Urbandale, Iowa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines, Iowa. Brayan was born on October 21, 1997 to Erasmo Martines and Maribel Ruiz Quintana. Brayan was born and raised in Mexico. He moved to Des Moines, Iowa in August of 2016. He worked at Glen Oaks Country Club, Biaggi's Italian Restaurant, and Stone General Masonry. He was a hard worker and an amazing friend. Brayan was an extremely caring person with the kindest heart. He was such a humble human being and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Brayan is survived by his parents, Erasmo Martinez and Maribel Ruiz Quintana; his brothers, Erasmo Martinez Ruiz and Yahir Martinez Ruiz; his grandparents, Saturnino Blas Ruiz Quintana and Maria Quintana Gonzalez, and his grandmother Teresa Martinez Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benito Martinez Perez.
