It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Billy Thomas Daman, lovingly known as “Uncle Bill,” on October 18, 2026, at the age of 61. Billy was associated with Harmony in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Billy enjoyed the things that made life special to him, including working on cars, attending car shows, spending time outdoors, and being surrounded by his loved ones and friends. These passions and the time he spent with the people closest to him are memories that his family and friends will continue to cherish.

Known affectionately as Uncle Bill, he held a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His passing leaves a deep sadness for his family and friends, but the memories they shared and the love they have for him will remain in their hearts.

Billy leaves behind his children: Damien “Bub” Daman (Katelyn), Kelsey (Zach) Nelson, and Trinity Tyler. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Jonathan, Braylinn, Kaylinn, Bryson, Addilynn, Zachariah, Tyller, Brooke, Violet, Liam, and Jensen.

His family will carry his memory forward through the stories they share, the moments they hold dear, and the love that continues to connect them. Although saying goodbye is never easy, the memories of Billy and the time spent together will always remain a meaningful part of their lives.

A Celebration of Life is planned for spring 2027, giving family and friends an opportunity to gather, share memories, and honor Billy’s life. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Billy Thomas Daman will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Though he is no longer with them, he will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Uncle Bill. You will always be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

Gone from our sight, but forever in our hearts.
