Benjamin Walls

Benjamin Walls, 14 of Dexter passed away on January 27, 2020 at MercyOne Medical Center inWest Des Moines. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel with a funeral service starting at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Benjamin was born at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines on March 10, 2005 to Robert & Danyelle Walls. Benjamin spent a lot of his life in and out of the hospital. He only spent about 3 months at home in the last year and a half. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and playing video games. Benjamin loved monkeys. He is survived by his parents; siblings, Anna Walls, Jerry Walls; grandparents, Dan Gillespie, Debbie & Rob West, David & Misty Walls; great-grandma, Betty Nixon; aunts and uncles, Kirk & Hayley Greenslade, Bret & Lori Greenslade, Nicholas & Andrea Walls; many great-aunts & uncles; and many cousins.
