Barbara Anneliese 'Annie' Chaney

Barbara Anneliese “Annie” Chaney, the 16 month-old daughter of Shawn and Cassandra (Jones) Chaney of Patterson, died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset. A gathering in honor of Annie will be held Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare, with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 5 p.m. Annie had an amazing smile and she could light up a room. She certainly knew how to get what she wanted, especially from Dad and she loved her binky which always satisfied her. All that said, she was a true blessing in the lives of her family and was loved more than words can express! Survivors include her parents; her brother, Nathyn Chaney at home; maternal grandparents, Rhonda and Kenny Gragg of Mackburg; Gary Ross of Seattle, WA; paternal grandparents, Glenda and Clayton Chaney of Norwalk; great grandparents, Anneliese Chaney of Waynesville, MO; Ervin Nichols of Columbia, MO; three uncles, Jacob Gragg of Newton; Solomon Gragg of Winterset; Joshua Chaney of Johnston; several great aunts and uncles, extended family and a host of friends. Memorials to the family will be accepted.
