Archie Lee Talamantez, age 7 months, of Clive, Iowa, passed away on October 30, 2025. He was born on March 17, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa, the beloved son of Theodore Marvin and Haley Rae (Beckner) Talamantez.

Archie Lee was the happiest baby you could find. Our lucky charm, born on St. Patrick's Day. His smile radiated through his "smiley eyes" with the most beautiful eyelashes anyone could have. Archie already had five teeth and showed them in his big smile. Archie was extremely motivated to keep up with big sister. In doing so, he was already pulling himself up on furniture and couch cruising. Archie was obsessed with watching baseball- specifically the Cubs with his daddy. So much so, that his first word was "ball". Archie loved playing with dinos with his big sister, chasing his favorite pet cat "cookie", and snuggling teddy bears any chance he could get. But more than anything, Archie loved his mama. Attached at the hip, if you saw Haley-you saw Archie. And neither would've had it any other way.

Archie's legacy will continue on through his organ donation, saving the lives of other children. Although nothing eases the pain- knowing others will live on because of him brings comfort to Archie's family.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his loving parents, Theodore and Haley; his sister, Adeline; grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Gary Beckner, Terry Loftus, Duane Fauser, Ted and Sarah Talamantez, and Ron Knudtson; and by his great-uncles, Steve Loftus and Berry Knudtson.

Archie will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him, a beautiful soul gone too soon but never forgotten.

If you are planning on attending the service, the family encourages you to wear anything superhero, Dino, or Baseball related to celebrate Archie's life and love for those items.

Theo and Haley will be creating a foundation to honor Archie's legacy.. The Archie Lee Foundation will assist other families that are going through their worst nightmare in the PICU. If you feel inclined to donate in his name, please do so here: https://mealtrain.com/mloy2k
