It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Angeline Fernandes, a woman of unparalleled kindness and strength. She passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was 86 years old.

Angeline was born on July 11, 1939, to the late Catherine and Martin D'Souza in Mangalore, India. She raised her family in Mumbai and touched the lives of many there through her work as a teacher. A deeply devoted and hardworking woman, she spent her life caring for her family and supporting those around her. Her love and example will continue to live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence, and her son, Lancy Fernandes. She is survived by her loving children, Jennete and Jerry; son-in-law Hemant and daughter-in-law Rita; and her four grandchildren, Shalini, Shania, Rohan, and Kiara.

We invite all who knew Angeline to join us in honoring her memory. A celebration of life service will be held on March 10, 2026 from 9:30-11:30 AM at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory (8201 Hickman Rd. Urbandale, IA 50322).
