Alfred Helmon Jr., 66, of Des Moines passed away on February 18, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Christ Apostolic Temple in Des Moines. Visitation will start at 9:00 AM at the church. Alfred is survived by his wife, Karen Helmon; mother, Eleanor Helmon; sisters, Christeta Gaskin, Marie Parker; children, Mark Evans, Danita Minter, Kimberly Holder, Naylynn Brown, Elliott Evans, and Quillan Evans
