Agnes Gavin

Agnes Gavin, 83 of Des Moines passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Basilica of St. John with a visitation starting at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Churchville Cemetery. Agnes was born on January 2, 1934 to Martin and Agnes (Gallagher) Gavin in Bevington, Iowa. She worked at Principal for many years before retiring. She was a member at the Basilica of St. John. She was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Kane and her brother, Albert Gavin.
