Stanley F. Faux - Patterson

Stanley F. Faux, 78, of Patterson, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Unity Point Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015, at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Pastor Joel Nau officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the McGinnis Cemetery at Madison County, Iowa. Stanley was born on June 7, 1936, at Madison County, Iowa to Elton and Hazel (Cole) Faux. He was married on April 1, 1959 at Omaha, Nebraska, to Carol Ann Davis. He had lived in Patterson since 1994. He had been a corporate pilot for many years and was also a certified airplane mechanic. Stanley served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Stanley is survived by his wife, Carol Faux of Patterson; son, Clark (Jaynie) Faux of Windom, MN; daughters, Rhonda (Rich) Tassin of Olathe, KS, Constance (Jeff) Shaut of Patterson, Elizabeth (Mike) Hetzel of Patterson, and Robin Faux; brothers, Dale Faux, Tom Faux, and Jack Faux; sister, Kathy Watson; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Hazel (Cole) Faux; son, Curtis Scott Faux; and brother, Willis Faux. Visitation will be Friday from noon to 8 PM at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM. Memorials may be directed to his family for a future designation.
