Linda Rickets

Linda Rickets, 70, of Winterset, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Winterset Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 following the visitation. Burial will follow in the Winterset Cemetery. Linda, daughter of Willard and Jerrie (Oglesbee) England, was born November 25, 1950 in Winterset, Iowa. She was a 1969 graduate of Winterset High School. Linda and Mark Rickets were married on July 25, 1970 in Madison County, Iowa. Her major occupation was being a medical transcriptionist at the Madison County Memorial Hospital. She loved gardening and flowers, and was involved in civic activities around the community. She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Winterset. She is survived by her mother, Jerrie (Oglesbee) England; husband, Mark Rickets; children, Curt (Dione) Rickets and Sylvia (Michael) Adams; brother, Jerry (Bill Powell) England; sisters Susan (Bob) Wales and Beverly (Dennis) Fisher; and grandchildren Tyler and Clayton. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Willard England; son, Chris Rickets; and brother, Paul England. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
