Obituary for Scott Clifton

Scott Clifton, 47 of Groveport, Ohio, formerly of Adel, passed away June 22, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 29 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. A private family inurnment will be at Panther Creek Cemetery at a later date.

Scott was born on February 22, 1971 to Arnold and Janet (Emerson) Clifton. He graduated from Adel High School in 1990 and Iowa Lakes Community College in 1992. On August 26, 2000, he married Mona Bruse.

Scott retired from the Dallas County Road Department, after relocating to Columbus, OH in 2015.

He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, playing the banjo and his favorite activity, cowboy action shooting.

Scott is survived by his wife, Mona; brother, Mike (Bobette) and sister, Debbie (Leon), both of Adel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; and his faithful companion, Dewey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Memorial contributions may be directed to AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport, or his family.
